The Third Alternative, Mankind's Search for Insight and Freedom
An innovative, systemic and practical approach toward solving the greatest problems that plague mankind's relationship with himself, others and the rest of the universe.

Preface
During the last couple of years, I have found myself writing books and articles that bring into focus some of the most serious examples of false flag terror, economic scandals, war crimes, crimes against humanity, rogue states and an uncounted number of conspiracies that become uncovered each and every day. Some would say that I have become politically aware. Others tell me that I have become a conspiracy theory advocate. When I consider my intentions, I have discovered a certain danger inherent when focusing on the problems that plague our society today. This kind of focus has a tendency to develop a revolutionary response. That is not what I am looking for. I have been searching for a better solution. I have discovered that I need to change my focus of attention upon, not the symptoms of a social disease but the real cause of the disease itself.
There are two different approaches toward solving mankind's greater problems. One of them is by approaching the problem from an oversimplified understanding of cause and effect. The solutions at this level are only short-term. This is generally the approach most commonly used in problem solving, especially political problem solving. In this case, the solution is to be found in a revolution that forces the downfall of the ruling elite on a global basis. It does not take much fantasy to imagine that this kind of revolution will be full of bloodshed, violence and terror – just like all of the revolutions that have gone before us. The other approach to these problems is “systems thinking”. This kind of problem solving expands the flow of cause and effect to enable one to discover the cause that triggers, or gives life to at least 70% of the other problems that plague the system. Solutions at this level are long term and they are generally innovative because they give life to a system that is otherwise bound up by internal conflicts. It is my intention to show how this kind of solution leads to an evolution of consciousness without a bloody revolution. The solution is actually non-threatening to the present status quo. The conflict between the masses and the ruling elite cannot be solved by punishing any guilty party – because the greatest problem is a level of understanding that is not permitted by our present understanding of what it really means to be “humane”. Ignorance can be forgiven. We are looking at the possibility of discovering a totally new paradigm for the future.
This article is a response to my trying to find a better way to get my message across. I hope you find it worthy of your consideration, and that you help the message to go viral by sending it along to those that you care about.
Introduction
The Third Alternative is about the source of information which mankind has used in an attempt to solve the mysteries of self. It is also an attempt to resolve the issue of mankind's natural state of being – to be free, or to be confined. Each individual has this urge to know the answers to his or her questions. The drive to know is variable, but it is always there. The consensus concerning these answers forms the very fabric of society and governance on our planet. Traditionally there are two opposing social institutions – religion and science, which have been given the task to find the answers to those questions. Both of these institutions profess to have found the answers we are looking for, and therefore try to keep you away from challenge the assumptions that are at the very foundation, the fabric of our modern society. I challenge the idea that mankind has discovered the secrets of self that can resolve our conflicts. I can do so because I am sure that the conflicts which plague mankind will disappear immediately, as soon as we discover where and how we can find high quality answers to our questions. If anything – our modern society shows that the challenges that confront us are becoming increasingly dangerous to our survival. For the very same reasons, it has become increasingly more important to discover solutions – before it is too late and we bomb ourselves back into the caves.
The keepers of the records, our historians, talk about “dark ages” in our past as a time of repression, where even the search for the truth was discouraged. Many people think of the time during the 16-hundreds, when the Catholic Church's inquisitions, brutally clamped down on anything that was not sanctified by the high priests and their scholars. The most beastly methods of torture were used to impress the need for confession before the punishment of death. In these days evidence and proof were based on hearsay and unfortunate circumstances. Of course seekers of the truth – the real scientists of the world were also swept into this vortex of destructive ignorance and pride.
The result was a movement away from the church. Science as a new institution for the truth and knowledge was born. The intentions were to provide mankind with a methodology that could show us the way to those ultimate discoveries of the truth that were just waiting to be plucked, and applied to the betterment of mankind.
We have had 400 years to test our theory. We should be able to come to some useful conclusions now. The world of the 1600-hundreds is undeniably different. With our science, we have created a technological society far beyond the dreams – and in many cases nightmares of our visionaries from the past. Based upon this enormous advance of technology, many people compare the past with the present and think of the present as a time of enlightenment. We can send robots to the planets and our knowledge is growing exponentially, every day.
Our behavior towards each other, however, does not seem to have changed. We are still using torture to encourage confessions of “criminal acts against society”. The most powerful nations take it upon themselves to be the enforcers of their own particular will. The labels we use to describe our behavior as “terrorists”, “peace keepers” or “insurgents”, is only relevant to which side we may be on. Nations continue to use false flag terror to manipulate the masses in such a way that they succumb to the demands of being x-rayed to nudity as a “security” measure in the war on “terror”. The very technology that was one time proclaimed to be the solution of mankind's problems is the same that is monitoring our every move, intention, action and even thought.
Today, even language is being used as a form of “double speak” to confuse the issues, erase the boundaries between right and wrong, good and evil. Kidnapping of citizens all over the world and their torture is called “Extraordinary Rendition”. Warriors, fighting an invading oppressive army on their homeland are called, “Illegal combatants” – just to make sure that treaties involving torture can be avoided. Politicians are demanding that their deeds can never be accounted for. Our air and food supply is systematically poisoned. We are either forced to, or hardily encouraged to vaccinate our bodies with toxic mixtures that weaken our minds and create wars within our bodies.
From my perspective, we are still very much in the dark ages. I can say this because I know what “The Third Alternative” provides us with as far as solutions are concerned. Our present dark ages are much more dangerous than those of earlier times. Today, technology is being used to multiply and magnify the enforcement of the will of few upon the lives of many. Modern technology is that “force enhancer”.
The Third Alternative is a revolutionary approach to solving mankind's greatest problems. It is revolutionary in that this approach does not solve one single problem, but at least 80% of the problems that plague mankind today. By that I mean oppressive governance, oppression by wars, manipulation, disaster management, economic greed, lack of accountability, environmental pollution, disease and global repression of freedom – this is just a start. It is also revolutionary in that it makes diminishes the risk for violent revolution, while maximizing the possibilities for positive change. The only real opposing force to “The Third Alternative” is that limited, but strong group of people who are bent on using ignorance as a method to continue their ruling status. The Third Agenda is not a threat toward any human being who is determined to discover the truth about them selves', the real meaning of life and the hidden structure of our existence.
Before I introduce what I call the Third Alternative, I find it necessary to back-track to the time when we really took the wrong turn as far as the development of society is concerned. When we go back to the decisions that were made to rectify the dark ages, using hindsight, we can clearly see what we did wrong. The solution is just as clear and obvious.
The foundations of religion and science
Our two “sacred” institutions of knowledge are based on different sets of principles that provide the foundation for each pattern of thinking. Each of these mismatches the other completely. Most people are unaware of this fact.
Religion promotes focus on spiritual matters, while it downgrades the material part of existence. With religions, the source of information is sensory based, or “subjective”. This means visions, “hearing the voice of God”, dreams, “inner knowing”, channeling etc. is acceptable for legitimate inclusion into the total body of knowledge. If you look up “subjective” in a dictionary, you will find a lot of descriptors, like “biased”, “slanted”, “prejudiced”, “one-sided” and even “untrustworthy”. The word is definitely something you do not want to associate with. The third pillar of religious knowledge is based on “irrational” contra rational ways of cognition. At a deeper level, we are talking about faith, beliefs, intuition and acceptance at face value. Psychology recognizes the “irrational” as the emotional or unconscious part of our existence. The label “irrational” implies a total lack of logical, rational abilities – even any form for intelligence.
The birth of science, as I can imagine it, must have been like a difficult divorce. In such times it is a natural thing to think that one will never again choose a partner with similar character traits. The pendulum swings in the opposing direction. That is at least what happened to science as a methodology in its relationship to religion. We can see this pattern working when we compare religion, which does not really negate the principles of science – they are simply given higher priority, while science seems to refuse to accept that its polar opposites can ever be of any value at all.
There are three basic foundations which information in the scientific method must comply with in order to be accepted as legitimate for the purposes of research. First and foremost, we have materialism as a philosophy. Materialism, according to Wikipedia, is a philosophy that states that matter is the most fundamental part of the universe. Further it states that even consciousness can be understood by understanding the physical processes within the brain that create consciousness. As a mirror mismatch to subjectivity, science will only recognize objective information. That means that what ever is studied, has to be able to be measured in some way, even if this means using technology to extend the human senses – for example by using electronic amplification. Furthermore we have rational thinking processes in the scientific model, which mismatches the “irrational” processes in religion.
Science can only use the physical brain to research the nature of consciousness
Scientific limitations on what is legitimate research material, demands that all scientific research be limited to the human brain. After Einstein died, his brain was removed from his skull and preserved in formaldehyde. It was later dissected as a part of a research project to discover the source of Einstein's intelligence. Psychiatry is basically limited to prescribing chemicals or even electric stimulation to cure what it understands as mental disease. Of course medical science is regulated in the same way. In science, if something is not physical, it does not exist.
If, at some point in time, it can be proven that:
- Matter is not the most primal substance in the universe – or
- Consciousness is not the product of the human brain,
then we have legitimate reasons to question the self-imposed assumptions that limit the range of scientific research.
If that should ever become the case, we must realize that this will not affect how we understand and create material/physical technology. This part of science will remain the same. The differences will be found in each and every subdivision of science that deals with any interaction between the material and the non-material. Of course this would extend into the sciences that work with life and consciousness. As I have stated before, we could be looking at en entirely different way to perceive the reality in which we experience life and how we relate to it.

Science, religion and the human brain
Having made the limiting distinctions very clear for each of these institutions, some people may immediately perceive the exact same pattern to exist between the left and the right hemispheres of the human brain. The left side represents the scientific approach, while the right side represents the religious approach. This information was not available to the scientists that made the original scientific model. It was only after 1955 that this information was made available through the work of neuroscientist Roger Sperry who received the Nobel Prize in the 80's for his discoveries.
As we recognize that the left brain hemisphere (for those that are right-handed) mirrors the scientific approach to reality, and the right brain hemisphere mirrors the religious approach, we must also realize that there is something wrong when each of these opposing institutions negate each other. Human personality (or the brain) cannot function as a whole with this kind of arrangement. In the brain, we have an organ called the Corpus callosum – a giant network of nerves that have access to each side of the brain. The brain is so dependent on each side of the brain working together in unison that we cannot even make a well-formed decision, if this function were to break down. Conventional and alternative research shows that the last part of the decision strategy is emotional. We choose what feels right for us. Well-formed decision strategies include a combination of left and right brain resources, in order to work as a whole.
Even so, science and religion ignore integration with each other's principles as an obvious solution to a dysfunctional framework. Each part pretends that the other does not exist. This is how the dark ages have become to last into the age of modern science. While our materialistic and technological understandings have grown with exponential proportions, our human understanding has, more or less, maintained itself at the same level of brutality and mismanagement of self.
How the brain solves its conflicts and how the same understanding can be used to solve the conflicts between religion and science.
Human consciousness has absolutely no conflict within itself, in its natural state. Even though the left (scientific) brain hemisphere is dominant, it understands that thoughts and feelings are not “things”. They cannot be measured, pinned to the wall, or poured into jars. Their existence, however, is not questioned. This is also something science could profit from accepting.
Enter Neuro Linguistic Programming - NLP – 1972
En enormous amount of diverse scientific research in the period between 1950 – and early 70's gave birth to a new tool and body of knowledge that made it possible to study the structure of human subjective experience. Richard Bandler and John Grinder created an entirely new field of study that never before had existed – NLP. The original plan by Richard Bandler was to discover the patterns in communication and behavior that led to successful psychological interventions in the field of psychotherapy. At that time, and it is still the case today, Psychology was taught as a long series of conflicting theories about mental health, and the lack of it, along with an enormous amount of time studying disease and dysfuntion. Bandler's idea was to shorten the learning curve in psychology by studying the patterns of success instead of failure. John Grinder was his mentor – as assistant professor of Linguistics at the university of California.
The project started by gathering the three most talented psychotherapists in the field and studying their language patterns, and behavior, to look for patterns. The first three models were, Virginia Satir, Fritz Perls – father of Gestalt psychotherapy and Dr. MD. Milton Erickson – hypnotherapist. Another team member appeared to help bring systemsthinking and “epistemology” into their creation – Gregory Bateson – author of “Steps to an Ecology of the Mind”. He also published a paper on the “Theory of Schizophrenia”.
This project seemed to take on a life of its own. NLP – was never intended to be a “science”, but rather a “model” and a “methodology”. As such it has developed, on a global basis, as a very advanced and effective tool in the field of modeling, changing human behavior and communication skills. NLP has been used as a skill set to research the nature of consciousness, that science and psychology never have been able to provide. One of the reasons is that science does not deal with subjective experience. In NLP, subjective experience is the only kind of experience that exists! When you think about it, can you experience anything that has not gone through your sensory perceptions?
NLP- is today a set of assumptions – which the NLP-operator assumes to be true about psychology and the change process. It is also a rather large set of tools, skills and methods that enable the practitioner to work with the complicated interplay between conscious and unconscious processes in the mind and brain. It is also a model – a way of understanding how the brain and mind organize and work with subjective experience.
Experiences with NLP show that there are a number of issues with the scientific limitations that need to be looked at with a fresh approach. The first of these is the fact that no scientist can ever experience anything without sensing it first. In other words, when science demands objectivity and the scientist is subjective in essence, science must have forgotten to enter the scientist into the equation. Another issue is the ability of using subjective information as a research platform, as long at that subjectivity is properly dealt with in order to insure a high quality of information. This is the theory of knowledge. It is also called epistemology and is the answer to our question, “How do you know what you think you know about something.
The theory of knowledge, otherwise known as epistemology, takes us through the complicated mental processes which begin with, “assumption”, lead us toward “belief”, on to belief systems, convictions and in to “knowing” – even without scientific “proof”. There are some things that cannot be proven, because they are “non-physical” in their nature. Such “entities”, patterns or knowledge can only be “known” through the strict appliance of epistemological rules and cross referencing with other known bodies of information. The deeper the level of cross-referencing, the more we come to “know”, even without physical proof.
In this way, NLP shows us how the brain also deals with the differences between subjectivity and objectivity in such a way as to end up with a conflict free relationship.
The rational mind and the irrational mind is a reference to the left and right hemispheres of the brain. We can also talk about the differences between the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind and brain. One of the distinctions that help to us to understand the change process in humans is understanding the differences between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. NLP as a competence has this distinction down to an art form. When we become aware of who does what in our own mind, we become aware of the fact that what is rational, is really something often very stupid and poorly thought out. The conscious mind always seems to want an answer to “Why” things are the way they are. This helps the conscious mind keep its “cool”, especially when under stress. “Why are you here and not there?” “Why did you eat that for lunch and not this?” These answers are not necessarily always intelligent. We still call them rational. At the same time the irrational mind uses the other brain hemisphere in a way that is really more holistic. It is concerned with taking care of all its parts, relative to the whole. My 20-year experience with the “irrational” mind has shown me that there is really a lot more logical sensory power behind this part of the brain than the conscious brain hemisphere. The “irrational” mind is the wrong name. It should be called the “transrational” mind. The real reason that the rational mind does not understand the “transrational” mind is that the rational mind does not have access to the same kind of information that the unconscious/transrational mind has. The rational mind is in reality very limited. It has the ability to access between 5 and 9 blocks of information before going into “overload” – where the unconscious mind takes over. The conscious mind has will power, short-term memory and a limited access to logical powers of reasoning. It also needs rest – a lot of rest and plenty of energy in order to function well.
The unconscious/subconscious mind is always working with the conscious mind in a seamless work of secret cooperation that the conscious mind knows nothing about. The unconscious mind takes care of 100% of our automatic processes – habits – good, bad and utilitarian. The conscious mind likes to think that it is doing much of this work when, in fact it is doing nothing. This, we learn with NLP and my 20-years of experience just drives the point more home. The unconscious mind is a lot smarter than the conscious mind. It is just smarter in a different way.
The rational and irrational resources within the brain are complimentary – they help each other to add different classes of information in such a way that each side gets help from the other. Like a navigational tool, irrational/emotional and rational/logical resources in the brain either agree with each other or they disagree. When they agree, we have a green light for action. When they do not, we are called to ask new questions about how to navigate towards our goal. While it is generally accepted in science that mankind's irrational resources have no intelligence, experiential research proves that not to be the case. Mankind's irrational/emotional/unconscious resources have a depth of intelligence that actually extends well beyond what the rational/conscious mind may ever claim to have. The unconscious mind has always reasons for doing what it does, and even though the conscious mind does not have access to these reasons, it will generally accept these when they are presented. This has been proven to be the case in many hypnotic demonstrations.
While the science of psychology and psychiatry have yet to acknowledge that the unconscious mind has any intelligence to speak of, those who work with alternative models of the mind and the brain, respect without a doubt that the unconscious mind is absolutely, the smartest, most intelligent and resourceful of the two. The unconscious mind has also access to a higher level of cognition that is known as the “Higher Self” – a source of knowledge that is very much appreciated by those that know of its existence.
It is beyond the scope of this article to delve into the workings of the “Higher Self”. For a more complete understanding of how your mind and brain works, I suggest you read, “A Handbook of Spiritual Psychology” – 504 pages – as a free download at www.acnlp.no (see English Pages button).
The Third Alternative – an integrated, inclusive and expanded methodology
We have now shown that the artificial barrier between science and religion to be, at best, questionable. NLP shows us how the rational and irrational resources can work together without conflict as long as they understand each other. We also understand that subjective and objective information can work together as long as we remember to include a well- formed epistemology. We shall soon prove that the materialistic framework around the scientific model also has been proven wrong. The only reason for keeping on keeping on to the old model of science has to be the reluctance to change, even when it includes change for the better.
The Third Alternative is a replacement for the fragmented scientific model of knowledge that is in use today. This approach enables mankind to search in entirely new directions, with entirely new methods to discover the nature of life and consciousness. It will, of course, continue to serve mankind with the traditional materialistic technological development. The big difference will now be that there is a natural meeting place where consciousness and material technology will have a common ground. In some cases, “spiritual technology” may be found to be much more powerful and accurate than material technology. This may be especially interesting in the field of electromagnetism where consciousness and health seem to have overlapping influence on each other.
Because science has always declared human life as expendable, we have a tradition where technology that is dangerous for mankind has become accepted as the better of two worlds. That is not the case when we discover the practical principles that arise when we create a working model of this new institution. Human life is and always will be more important than technological solutions that ultimately harm consciousness and or health.
The Third Alternative has already been tried and tested
Some people might think that this solution is very speculative and that we need to go slowly forward in order to keep our balance. That might have been the case if it had never been tried out in a practical setting before. As a matter of fact it has already been in existence and used by to generations of researchers – working with the “Near Death Experience” (NDE). Precisely this same approach has also been used by the author to create an expand model of human psychology, that also include the findings and principles that have been discovered by NDE research.
This means that an alternative understanding about the nature of human consciousness is already available and comparable with the first and second alternatives that we have used for thousands of years.
“Near Death Experiences”
There was a time when people whom had been clinically dead and “woken” up again, were very reluctant to talk about their experiences. At first, because the experience in general is in conflict with both scientific and religious understandings, there were few that had the need or urge to expose themselves to public ridicule. The first book ever to be published in Western culture about the Near Death Experience was Raymond Moodys, “Life after Life – which has sold over 20-million copies. Moody studied people who had been clinically dead – that means no heartbeat, no breathing and no brain activity – and that had come back to life to talk about their experiences.
In order to complete this research, Moody had to break the rules of science. The information that he needed to research the project was not to be found in the brain. His patients had to talk to him about their subjective experiences. Now, after 2 generations of researchers and 7-million patients that have been interviewed, there is a huge body of information that satisfies the rigid requirements for epistemological “knowing”. Research has been submitted for peer review in 2001 of the December issue of The Lancet.
Their findings are really proof that science has been on the wrong track all this time. Research into the Near Death Experience tells us that the brain and the mind are two different entities. The mind sends consciousness to the brain – which actually is a kind of filter for the mind. It is a limiter. When consciousness leaves the body, it is expanded. It knows more and it can do more. These findings conflict with the “philosophy of materialism” which states that even consciousness can be understood by understanding the physical processes of the brain.
Now we can see that each of the three classes of information (materialism, rationalism and objectivity) is truly only a part of a greater whole. The conflicts between each of these counterparts are resolvable in practical terms – exactly as the brain resolves these presumed conflicts. This discovery, if accepted by the general public, and the scientific community could create a new renaissance to the field of science. This means that all the books written about psychology, psychiatry, medicine, biology, social sciences, political sciences – and even physics and cosmology will need to be reconsidered.
The great and dangerous divide – between old school and new school understanding of psychology
It is important now to take a step backward, into the early history of psychology. This is necessary in order to understand where, when and why things went so very wrong in the field of social and political science. I chose to focus on these two issues because they are very relevant concerning the delegation of authority for social rule. It is my contention that the mandate for social ruling of the masses by a ruling elite is really based on an assumption that truly belongs back in the dark ages of mankind's history of evolution.
For over one hundred years ago, when Sigmund Freud discovered the unconscious / (subconscious) mind for Western civilization, he made a point of the idea that he believed the unconscious to be a dangerous entity. It was a left-over from our animal ancestors and this was the source of dangerous antisocial/destructive/violent behavior, as well as uninhibited sexual tendencies. The unconscious mind was repressed to keep us safe from ourselves. This entire idea created a fear response towards the unconscious mind and the exploration of its resources. On top of this scientific “revelation”, religious figures were confirming the science by stating that the devil was using the unconscious mind as his playground. Hypnosis was his tool of choice.
When Sigmund Freud's theories became more well known, they were immediately accepted by the political establishment as a scientific mandate to keep the masses under control – even in democratic, free societies. This was necessary to protect the fabric of society from self-destruction.
Sigmund Freud had an American nephew, Edward Bernays, who served as a propaganda minister for USA under the First World War. He was the first person to use the term “Public Relations” since the word propaganda was now too much associated with half-truths and lies from the war-time flow of information. Bernays was informed of his uncles theories and even helped him gain his reputation in the USA. After the war, Henry Bernays became a very important part of the elite leadership by getting women to smoke, and to change the society over to a “consumer” oriented institution. This not only kept the economic wheels turning at an ever increasing speed, it also satisfied the need of government to keep the masses under some form for control.
The masses were looked on as “happiness machines” and as long as they were kept busy keeping themselves happy with things they wanted, they would never have the time, energy or awareness to busy themselves with what their leaders did. The masses were effectively imprisoned in the false illusion of personal freedom. The development of the consumer society changed the role of the individual citizen from being one of participation in the civil process, to be a passive part in a larger machine – just to keep the wheels rolling. This fact was also proven to be still important today. We can still remember President Bush saying to the American public to go back to the shopping malls so the wheels of America could get back to normal after the so called terror attacks in 2001.
From passive to active oppression – and everything in-between
In a historical perspective, Anne Freud overtook from her father's legacy after his death. She became an important figure in creating the “science” of psychiatry. She felt that there were even more good reasons to hold the masses under control and that conformity was a method well suited for the task. Her thinking was that if everybody were more or less at the same level, the unconscious mind would not be disturbed by great differences in behavior or standards otherwise throughout society. To make this work, there was a great amount of measuring activity to create a new set of standards in the field of human psychiatry. If an individual fell out of the “bell curve” of normalcy, a mental disease could be diagnosed and medicines and or electric shock treatment could be administered to get help the individual get back to normalcy. What we now understand is “mentally ill” is being “different” from all the rest. It has not registered in the minds of these people that we all have unique fingerprints. This idea has only been used for control purposes.
The general popularity of Freud's ideas were met with a big setback. Anne Freud's life long-patients committed suicide. When another of her more well-known patients also apparently killed herself – Marilyn Monroe, the power of ‘ approach seemed to lose popularity. As Martin Luther King once said – “It is not a sign of disease to be maladjusted to a sick society.”
This setback did not affect psychiatry as a whole. The diagnosis system is still at work. And the creation of patients with mental illnesses through the use of medicines is still very much in use today. As a measuring rule, I would like to state, that during the 20-years that I have worked as a psychotherapist, I have never met a mentally ill patient that didn't get that way either through gross negligence of personal mental/physical boundaries (like going without food or sleep for 3 days – guarantied temporary psychosis) or through prescribing powerful drugs used in psychiatry. Mental illness is really rare - 99,9% of those suffering from thoughts or feelings that are bothering them are not sick. As Dr. Milton Erickson said, “Patients (mental) are patients because they are not in contact with their own unconscious mind. They have had too much programming from the outside.” Psychology and psychiatry need to be completely “made over” in order to be scientifically viable tools in an enlightened age.
The Cold War – Think Tanks
Even though the popularity of Freudian based psychotherapy was rapidly dwindling amongst the greater population, it had really struck a nerve deep in the minds of those that were obsessed with trying to always keep one step ahead of the Russians, the Communists, or who ever might be in the crosshairs of a threat to the national security of USA. People within the CIA and privately operated contractors to the government were making themselves busy, trying to find out how to manage other people through manipulation, drugs, hypnosis, brain washing, electroshock, and last but not least, general prediction of human behavior based on “games” and “strategy scenarios” created at government and private think tanks.
These theories were always based on the theories of Freud and the idea that mankind was really only a biological entity with no deeper meaning or purpose. They did not understand any form for altruistic behavior – it was an anomaly they could hardly accept. Throughout the years different theories of “negative” and “positive freedom were born and fed into huge computers to crunch the numbers in response to different actions taken by the government, by a foreign country, by disease, etc. As though humans were predictable lab rats, behavior was mapped out and results were predicted. The entire process could also be run in reverse. They could begin with a desired outcome and run their maps backwards to find out what had to happen to make the outcome a reality.
In many countries today, and absolutely in globalized governmental entities like WHO, and UN etc., you will find people in the shadows, and in think tanks making up ideas of how to rule the masses without letting them know what is really going on. The think tank that is an advisory to UN – The Club of Rome – is composed of highly influential individuals, also with extremely high social ranking. The following statement from 1991 – shows how the entire scam of man-made global warming came about:
“ The common enemy of humanity is man.
In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up
with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming,
water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these
dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through
changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome.
The real enemy then, is humanity itself."
- Club of Rome
The First Global Revolution
Humanity is today being led by people who are utterly convinced that mankind is more or less like a dangerous virus. If not put under total control, it must be eradicated, except for the very few that have these “intelligent” perceptions. Normally, this would be called “psychopathic behavior” in the extreme. Given the fragmented scientific data that is used to promote these ideas it is forgivable, even understandable that this kind of thinking is taking place in the 21-century. The danger lies within the realm of knowing that this is actually something they could pull off and make happen. It would not be a difficult task.
What does The Third Alternative tell us about ourselves
The word “spirit” and “ghost” are the two most used words to describe that which is not physical. Unfortunately, and probably by design, these phrases and words are also emotionally connected to the experience of seeing some sort of horror movie where monsters, devils, demons and raging “gods” are a important and inescapable part of the “spiritual” community. Fortunately, this is not the case in real life. Modern media and traditional literature have all been responsible for adding fear into the equation when it comes to the true nature of any form for spiritual evolution.
With one simple experiment, you can better understand what it feels like to be aware of your own spirituality. In front of a mirror, ask yourself the question, “Am I seeing myself in the mirror”? Now consider the fact that people that have had the Near Death Experience often talk about how they were up under the ceiling, looking down at their body – “I was looking down at my body.” From this example, ask yourself the question, “Am I my body or my consciousness?” No matter how hard you look, you cannot find your consciousness in the mirror. “You” are spirit, a ghost – a nonphysical entity that is bound, for the time being by a body, from which you operate and experience your physical world.
Admitting to the existence of spirituality, side by side with the material world is really the only natural thing to do, unless one wants to delve into the world of fantasy.

What are some of the most basic principles that we learn about ourselves from the Third Alternative?
The following points are logical conclusions that we can come to recognize simply by the patterns of experience told to us by patients who have died and come back to talk about the experience. I chose to limit myself to this one single source of information about the hidden substructure of our existence. If I were to continue, I would be repeating much of what I already have written in the “Handbook of Spiritual Psychology”.
- First and foremost, you have eternal life. What we call “death” is really the act of the consciousness leaving the body forever. Being out of the boundaries of the body and the brain, consciousness is greatly expanded. Outside of the body, your consciousness feels no pain.
- In this state, many are able to perceive that they can have a two-way communication with other spiritual beings like yourself. You may also become aware that you can communicate mentally with plants and animals you may come across along the way.
- It is quite normal to be aware of one or more people that you know from before, whom have died, as you become ready to go over to the “other side”. Almost everyone talks about an intense feeling of “unconditional love” as this process continues. Many also hear “other worldly music”.
- Once on the “other side” you will meet with beings that are utterly perfect in their ways. Here too one feels perfect unconditional love and acceptance. These beings are “Higher Selves” and they are there to help you on your journey.
- If your consciousness is tired from its last stay in the physical state, you may chose to rest in a state of aloneness – to charge up our spiritual batteries.
- Each individual goes through a self-driven life review as the actions of the life you have just left are seen in review, in order to study how your actions affected those around you. This is for the purpose of learning, not punishment.
- As you become more aware of the new world, you notice more and more beings that you know from before. You find that you communicate with the others by telepathy and that this is like a physical family – just much bigger.
- You don't eat food if you don't have a body.
- You understand that your stay here is only temporary. This is not “heaven” and certainly not “hell”, but a state that is between this life and the last one. You find yourself actively planning your nest life. With the aid of counsel from Higher Self, you chose the nest life you are going to live. If you are aware enough you will take responsibility for all your choices – you will chose your agenda and lessons to learn, your parents will fit with that choice and either help you through love or through resistance – that will help you to attain the most useful foundation for your future learning.
- You chose your own body that matches your needs. Of course that means you live alternant lives in male or female bodies and personalities – according to what is most useful. These are not necessarily evenly divided and your masculine and feminine energy will be determined by the balance or imbalance of energies over time.
- In this same respect you chose your sexual preferences.
- Your talents for the next life will be chosen from the skills that you have learned in earlier lives. Your talents help to relieve the stress of your lessons, some some part of live is always going smoothly.
- You may chose partners, mates, friends that you will meet in the next life to do specific tasks together. These may be related to karma.
- Karma is like a law of balance – what you send out is what you get back. This way you learn to send out good things.
- You may attain knowledge about how the entire universe works at this point. When you enter into another body, you will have forgotten most of that was important
- When you enter into your new body, your conscious and unconscious minds will split apart. Your conscious mind will have no conscious recognition of the past. Your unconscious mind will provide you with signals, in competition with other external signals. What you do with this communication is up to you and only you.
- Whatever spiritual insights you have gained from earlier lives, you will keep. This knowledge will help you keep gaining in more knowledge as you continue to search for answers.
- Your experience will leave you with the knowledge that life is sacred. Other humans, and even the knowledge of this will help you become aware that spirituality has its own set of boundaries, responsibilities and morals. These are always seen in relationship to each individual's personal agenda. In this way what is wrong for one, may be entire right for another.
- You understand that the meaning of all life is to gain experience and learn through trial and error. We are all here to do the best we can.
Taking the mystery out of spirituality does not mean that we lose the magic of life
Awareness of our true identity grows with exponential strength once we first get on the right path. The next step is to integrate this knowledge into behavior as we gradually gain more and more insight about our personal resources and the new rules of an expanded universe come into play. As we become more aware of our resources, we also become aware of our responsibilities, our boundaries and possibilities. Since all of these are extremely expanded in relation to the older alternatives we may have accepted earlier, be become to know our experiences as being more magical, instead of less. Life is not a given set of, or series of different destinies. What happens around us is very much in relationship to what we chose to do and how we chose to respond to our external world. The first conscious act is to step fully into the identity of a spiritual being, having a human experience. The next steps often have to do with verification through experience, that what we think we know is really knowledge and not hearsay.
When one has first tasted this magical, wonderful reality, there is never any question of wanting to go back to that old “Muggel” life.
Spiritual insight promotes positive polarization
The more we become aware of the Third Alternative, the more we become aware of the fact that we have really been living in a holistic reality all this time, even though we have had a fragmented way of perceiving that reality. As the feeling of connection to the rest of creation grows, so does the feeling that that oneness is a part of you. It becomes natural to search to serve others at least 51-percent while serving self-interest is always less than 49-percent. As the feeling of unity grows, behavior changes will automatically take place. The attraction towards violence, war, fighting and death will shrink away, just as the empathy for the pain of the unenlightened ones seems to grow. The third alternative is truly the portal to en enlightened age for all of humanity which chooses to take part in the movement toward a society that must begin to function in a way that supports cooperation, openness, the truth and above all – forgiveness.
Spirituality has always been marginalized in the old world where science was only able to recognize materialism as a philosophy. That time has past when the spiritual was thought of as an excuse to bury the fears of our own mortality. We are not mortal but immortal beings. We are here by design, not coincidence. And the first step in the right direction is to look into that mirror and know that you do not see yourself.
This is the only direction and change that can ever become a solution to mankinds present problems. As we begin to realize the interconnectedness of all things, we realize how we have come to the point where there is no more future in fighting our way toward separateness and competition. That is the path of the looser. Those intent on keeping on their path of destruction will be given many experiences in their own right, that will help them to grow in the awareness that love is always more powerful than the darkness. True enlightenment begins with this one simple insight.
From this vantage point, we can begin to become clear about how it all seems to fit together.
