The big perspectives

This web-site is about discovering a more connected and complete nature of reality by working from the top down. The big perspectives give us direction and our disconnected society does not provide you with those perspectives that you need to give your life meaning and direction. I live and work in Norway, so the pages are made to extend my ability to provide the world with the possibility of a greater consciousness r-evolution.

The scientific method was created as a protest against the brutality of religious inquisitions that took the lives and the freedom of thousands of people who dared to think differently than the church. What was truth and what was fiction became a matter of dogma. The creator’s of the scientific method wanted to distance themselves from all that the church based its information on – the subjective, the irrational and the spiritual. These principles were replaced with objectivity, rational thinking and materialism. Their intention was good. The goal was to provide a method by which humanity could search and discover knowledge and insight about all that is. At this time in our history, nobody knew that the principles that identified religion and science perfectly mirror the human brain’s two hemispheres of specialized functioning. On the left hemisphere, we have language, rational thinking, sequential logic, rationality, intellect, time and classification. On the right hemisphere, we have the senses, emotions, rhythm, timelessness, the irrational acceptance without reason and creativity.

We know today that our brain gives us optimal results by integrating these resources as a whole. The implications of this comparison between religion and science and the human brain can lead us to the understanding that science and religion both are lacking what the other side has, in order to arrive at truth, especially when it concerns what ever has consciousness. Unfortunately, science has yet to admit to this historical blunder. The specialized functions of the two brain hemispheres were first discovered by Roger Sperry around 1955. By this time science had proved its ability to work with material technology and it was assumed that branches of science that concerned themselves with living systems were equally correct. The fact is that they are seriously flawed. That doesn’t seem to bother science. It would seem that there are greater interests, especially political, to keep things exactly the way they are.

The situation has led us to a very dangerous point in our development. The flawed science of psychology was based on the theories of Sigmund Freud. He meant that the unconscious was a leftover from our animal past and that it held the capacity for extreme violence and unhampered expression of sexuality. He believed that it was repressed to protect us from ourselves and that it must be held under rational control at all times. He meant that the masses were inherently stupid and they had to be held under control in order to protect the structure of society. This was great news for the political leaders who now had a scientific mandate to repress, control and lead society. In an age of mass democracy the consumer society was developed to keep the masses busy and compliant by their ability to buy their happiness from shopping. The science of psychiatry was developed under the influence of Anne Freud who believed that a society based on conformity would also help tether the unconscious mind by limiting surprises and too many differences in culture. Statistical norms were created for almost all human behavior and if you were declared outside that norm you could be declared mentally ill and treated by medicines.

Under the guise of a war on terror many world democracies have passed laws that severely limit personal freedoms and privacy rights. Using fear as a tool for manipulation the masses have accepted becoming more and more transparent while their governments have become more and more secretive. With our modern technological powers we may have to amplify the meaning of what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said over 40 years ago, "Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men."

Mankind has blindly accepted his role to be ruled by others because of the implications hidden in the fragmented perceptions of reality. There are, however, signs that lead us to believe that those times may be coming to an end. There are several reasons for this. On the one hand, many of societies global infrastructures are collapsing due to the unsustainability of their foundations. Entire countries are going bankrupt as scandal upon scandal is showing that our leaders in government and in business are greedy, manipulative, and only hungry for power at the expense us all.

None of this has any connection to the understandings we are able to gain when we apply an extended and more complete approach to science in order to answer the questions about what consciousness is all about. When we learn the truth about what these answers are, we discover that we are living in a world of complete disconnection from our true heritage and meaning of life.

Repairing that disconnection is what this website is all about. There are many people today that are searching for answers. It is my pleasure to be able to provide literature that will guide you through an enormously difficult and fragmented mass of information, each proclaiming to be the truth. What I provide is not assertive knowledge that you cannot control. I provide you with step-by-step, fully documented literature that you may use as a map. You can only claim the right to knowledge when you have personal experiences that verify what you have been told. You will find that the maps I provide you with will help you to defragment your perceptions of reality. You will discover the connection between yourself and the rest of the universe that you are a part of. You will gain in personal power by knowing about how your hidden resources really work together.

The books, essays and articles that you find on these pages are free of charge. My agenda is to help as many people as humanly possible to gain an understanding of their spiritual identity and heritage. I ask only that you pass the word on to others who may be searching for answers. The searching process is long and difficult without proper maps. I have spent over 35 years doing my own searching. What I have found I give back to you.
